Mary Beth Raven

Mary Beth Raven is the lead designer for Lotus Notes at IBM. She has been with IBM for 12 years. Over the years she has worked on 5 versions of Sametime, and on various aspects of Notes, Domino administration, Sametime administration, Quickr and other products. Before joining IBM, Mary Beth managed a group of 6 designers for a small startup in the USA, and before that she worked for Digital Equipment corporation.
She has a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, USA,  a Master's degree in English from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, and a BA in English and French from the State University of New York.
